RESOURCE GUIDE / MOLD BASICS
When to ask for professional mold removal help
The size of a visible patch is only one consideration. Access, material damage, water history, and the way the space is occupied can also affect the decision.

Look beyond the visible patch
A concern inside a wall, in a restricted attic, or around multiple affected materials may require investigation and work-area controls. Recurring growth after cleaning is another reason to understand the source more carefully.
Explain the property constraints
Tell the assessor about shared spaces, tenants, business operations, and any restrictions on access. Discuss individual health concerns with a healthcare professional; a property contractor should not diagnose symptoms.
Ask for a defined approach
A useful proposal explains the affected area, protection of adjoining rooms, cleaning or removal, and moisture priorities. Ask what is excluded and how additional findings will be handled. You should be able to understand the sequence before work starts.
