Bleach and mold: ask about the material first
A cleaning product is not a complete remediation plan. The condition of the surface and the moisture source determine what needs to happen.

A surface change is not the whole answer
Removing a visible stain does not show what is inside damaged porous materials or explain why they became wet. Ask whether the material can be cleaned appropriately or should be removed as part of a defined scope.
Use cleaning products safely
Never mix bleach with ammonia or other cleaners. Follow the product label and authoritative cleanup guidance. Do not experiment with combinations or apply chemicals to an unknown situation simply because a stain looks dark.
Address what caused the growth
Repeated chemical treatment will not repair a pipe leak, stop water entry, or resolve a persistent damp condition. If the concern keeps returning, inspect the source and the material rather than choosing a stronger product.
