PLAN YOUR PROJECT
Mold prevention & moisture maintenance
Reduce recurring mold concerns by following through on leaks, damp materials, condensation, and maintenance after cleanup.

Give moisture fewer places to hide.
Repair the source, not just the finish
A plumbing leak, water-entry defect, or roof issue needs the appropriate repair. Repainting a stain does not explain the material condition behind it. Keep a record of the source, repair, and any affected materials that were evaluated or removed.
Pay attention after water events
Promptly assess wet materials and the areas water may have reached. Visible drying alone does not establish the condition of concealed cavities. Ask for help if safe access, the extent, or the appropriate handling is unclear.
Watch recurring condensation and dampness
Observe when and where moisture returns. Maintain ventilation and exhaust equipment as intended and ask a qualified building professional about persistent conditions. The right correction depends on the building rather than a universal product or device.
Build a simple follow-up routine
Revisit previously affected rooms, keep photographs of changes, and record new leaks or odors. Share the earlier scope and repair history if a concern returns. A maintenance routine supports early recognition; it is not a guarantee against every future water event.
