Attic condensation and mold: questions to ask
Condensation concerns require a look at how moisture and air move through the property. Cleaning affected attic surfaces is only one part of the conversation.

Describe what was observed
Share photographs, the season when the concern appeared, and any reports from roofers or home inspectors. Explain recent insulation, exhaust, or roofing changes. Do not assume that all attic staining has the same cause.
Ask about the system, not one feature
Ventilation, air leakage, insulation, and exhaust routing may all be relevant. A qualified building professional should evaluate the appropriate corrections; simply adding a vent is not a universal answer.
Keep responsibilities clear
The remediation contractor and the trade correcting the moisture conditions may be different. Ask what work is included, how occupied rooms will be protected, and what remains to be repaired before considering the project complete.
