RESOURCE GUIDE / PREVENTION
Why does mold keep coming back?
A recurring problem often means the previous response did not resolve every relevant condition. Start by reviewing what changed—and what did not.

Compare the before and after
List the work that was completed: surface cleaning, material removal, drying, plumbing repair, or another measure. Keep photos of the original area. This helps separate a new event from an unresolved earlier problem.
Follow remaining moisture
A room can have more than one source of dampness. Note active leaks, repeat water entry, condensation, and changes in how the space is ventilated or used. A one-time dry appearance does not explain the full history.
Reassess the scope
Ask whether remaining materials need investigation and whether a separate trade should correct the source. A useful plan identifies responsibilities and follow-up observations. No coating or cleanup method can guarantee protection from every future water event.
